Three Patti Akhrot Shawl

The Three Patti Akhrot Shawl is one of the most technically demanding patterns in Kullu weaving. 'Akhrot' means walnut — and the motif, a stylised rendering of the walnut kernel, is arranged in three vertical panels ('Patti') that run the length of the shawl. The complex design is paired with a handmade side border, making this a vintage-style showpiece.
